About The Internship

HeLIT Consulting Group is a Tanzania-based professional services firm providing Audit, Accounting, Tax and Advisory services. We invite applications from motivated and suitably qualified individuals seeking practical exposure and a strong foundation for a career in professional services

The internship offers hands-on experience through real client assignments and close collaboration with experienced professionals. Interns will gain exposure to accounting, audit, taxation, financial reporting and advisory work

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with accounting records, reconciliations and financial schedules.
  • Support audit assignments, working papers and engagement documentation.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports and financial analyses.
  • Support tax computations, returns and related assignments.
  • Assist with internal control reviews, advisory work and client correspondence.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Sound foundational knowledge of accounting and financial reporting; knowledge of IFRS, IPSAS, taxation or auditing is an added advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High standards of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
